Katsugyo Ohedo Ueno Nigohten is a restaurant catering to working-class patrons, of whom I am one. It's located in the Ameyoko shopping district in Ueno, Tokyo, between Keisei Ueno Station and Metro Ueno Station. Everything is available for 140 yen for two pieces of nigiri, which is US$1.26 ($1=111 yen as of April 26). While there are so many tourist traps in Central Tokyo, this place never lets you down, whether you are a self-acclaimed foodie, or just a sushi novice.
